Over the past 15 years, more and more research has shown that acupuncture can improve IVF and IUI outcomes.

Although there are varied reasons why people might need an ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) procedure to help get pregnant, there are some important components for a positive result. Acupuncture can improve egg/sperm quality, improve blood flow to reproductive organs, encourage a thick endometrial lining and lower cortisol levels throughout the cycle. Treatments can reduce unwanted side effects of the medications. Pre and post transfer treatments are recommended to help relax the cervix for an easier procedure and help keep you calm.
