Acupuncture for Sports Injuries

Acupuncture can accelerate the healing process for people with a variety of sports or activity-related injuries. Acute or chronic, consider acupuncture for tendonitis, bursitis, rotator cuff issues, A/C joint problems, tennis/golf elbow, carpal/cubital tunnel, SI joint problems, sciatic pain, sprains, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, etc. You get the idea.

For musculoskeletal problems, I’m often asked how acupuncture differs from dry needling or other uncomfortable trigger point therapies. While you may experience some discomfort with the needles, they are set and retained to let your body slowly adapt to the therapy. It's a gentler approach with the same end goal. The retention of the needles also allows for an endorphin release, so you are often very relaxed after a treatment.

I also treat plenty of people with tight or sore muscles, as a part of their wellness/maintenance routine.
